A house caught fire in a Kyrgyz village on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. It is reported by the Border Guard.
The accident occurred in the Kocho-Boyu area, where the
Kyrgyz police are stationed. The Tajik side fired mortars at the house.
It should be noted that today, January 27, from 17:00 to 18:30, citizens of Tajikistan blocked the Tort-Kocho section of the Batken-Isfana highway in the Batken region.
The head of the Batken regional department of the Border Service Kiyalbek Tolonbaev and the commander of the Batken border detachment Rustam Mirshakirov visited the region. Then at 7:30 pm, the Tort-Kocho Road reopened.
However, at about 19:35, the Tajik side opened fire from the Uch-Dobo region of the Batken region, and the situation escalated. Kyrgyz and Tajik border guards opened fire in the areas of Tort-Kocho and Uch-Dobo, Tajiks used mortars and grenades.
