Border: 6 Kyrgyz villages were left without electricity due to shelling from the Tajik side

Six villages of Batken region were left without electricity. This was reported by the press service of «Oshelectro».

On the evening of January 27, Tajik militants cut the 10 kV Orto-Boz line from the 35/10 kV Samarkandek substation of the Batken Distribution Zone. The settlements of Ak-Sai, Kok-Tash, Orto-Boz, Zhany-Bak, Tash-Tumshuk, Kok-Terek, which received electricity through this line, were left without electricity.

Due to the situation at the border, repairs are not possible. When the situation calms down, Batken district electrical networks employees said they would repair the line.

There were no power cuts in other areas. All districts are under the control of «Oshelectro». Electricians of Batken region are working in an enhanced mode.
