Kyrgyz villages in the Tort-Kocho area are evacuated

Currently, residents of the villages of Uch-Dobo, Orto-Boz, Ak-Tatyr, Ak-Say, Samarkandek, bordering the Tort-Kocho section of the Batken-Isfana highway in the Batken region, are being evacuated to the village of Ravat. The Maral was informed about this by the head of Ravat village Bakyt Turduev.

According to the information, currently 7-8 families from these villages have been delivered to the village of Ravat.

According to the border service, the shooting continues in the Uch-Dobo area of the Batken region.

From 17:00 to 18:30, citizens of Tajikistan blocked the Tort-Kocho section of the Batken-Isfana highway in the Batken region. The head of the Batken regional department of the Border Service Kiyalbek Tolonbaev and the commander of the Batken border detachment Rustam Mirshakirov visited the region. Then at 7:30 pm, the Tort-Koho road reopened.

However, at about 19:35, the Tajik side opened fire from the Uch-Dobo region of the Batken region, and the situation escalated. Kyrgyz and Tajik border guards opened fire in the areas of Tort-Kocho and Uch-Dobo, Tajiks used mortars and grenades.
