The head of state has instructed law enforcement to take necessary search measures to determine the whereabouts of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan,” the statement on the country’s presidential website said. The Ministry of Interior also launched a nationwide search to find Mr Inandy.

Students and teachers from Sapat schools gathered in front of the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek to protest the incident. The crowd, in Kyrgyz and Russian, carried banners written „Where is Mr Orhan ?“

Orhan Inandy’s wife, Reyhan Inandy, said, «Even though I don’t have any eyewitnesses, I suspect the risk of being kidnapped and taken to Turkey, and I’m worried about my husband’s safety.»

In a statement made by the Oktyabrsky district police, it was recorded that Inandy’s car was found at around 04:20 in the morning of June 1, and that «an investigation-operation group was formed among experienced investigators and officials.»

The General Directorate of Sapat Educational Institutions and President of International Sapat Educational Institutions made a press release with the headline «No News From Orhan Inandy.

It was stated that Inandy, who is also a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, has been in Kyrgyzstan since 1995 and has been the president of International Sapat Educational Institutions since 2001.

It was noted that the institution, which started to operate in Kyrgyzstan in 1992 as Sebat Education, was transferred to Kyrgyzstan in 2017 and its name was changed to Sapat.

Rebecca Harms reaction, former member of the EU Parliament, also asked where Mr Inandy was, by tagging the United Nations and the Kyrgyzstan Foreign Ministry on her social media account.
