Today, September 17, at 12:37 p.m., shots were fired at border guards of the Kyrgyz Republic located in Teshik-Tash, Karamyk, and Karool-Döbe villages of Chon-Alai, the border service of the State Committee on National Security of Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Kyrgyz soldiers responded to the firing of the Tajik side, but were the first to stop the shooting in order not to escalate the situation.
At the moment, the representatives of the border services of the two countries are expected to talk.
